Dr. Ursula Schmidt is an independent advisor and founder of Schmidt Advisory, specialising in internal audit, compliance, governance, and ethics. She previously served as Executive Vice President, Audit & Compliance at RTL Group, where she led the organisation's global internal audit and compliance function for more than 15 years. She is a Board Member of IIA Luxembourg, a regular international conference speaker and webinar presenter, and an author on governance and compliance topics. Dr. Schmidt holds a PhD in Economics and is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – International (CCEP-I) as well as an ILA (Luxembourg) and Deutsche Börse (Germany) Certified Director.
